Aembit is hiring talented senior engineers to join our core engineering team. You’ll be a key member developing a high-quality culture in a new team, building a new product, scaling our cloud service, and solving challenging technical problems. Relevant technologies include Identity, Security, Networking, Cloud Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and Big Data Analytics.
Aembit is fully remote; this is an excellent opportunity for you to be impactful and develop a new security product for a large market from the ground up.
What You’ll Do at Aembit
- Build and expand our security products and APIs, written in Go.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver user-facing features.
- Monitor and improve server-side performance.
- Write unit, integration, and load tests as necessary.
- Actively participate in code reviews.
- Write and review technical proposals.
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
We’d Love to Hear From You if You Have
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing Data Pipeline architectures for data streaming and analytics applications.
- Strong background in Data Warehousing, including experience with one or more commercial or open-source data warehouse technologies, like Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, ClickHouse.
- Experience deploying and using event streaming technologies like Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Fluentd / Fluent Bit, OpenTelemetry.
- Expert at developing efficient SQL queries for both OLTP and OLAP database systems with a background in relational databases like PostgreSQL.
- Quality orientation and comfortable with unit and integration testing and test-driven development.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AI/ML modeling and technologies.
- Understanding of security analytics and log management.
- Experience with Cloud Platform technologies from AWS, Azure of Google Cloud.
