Aembit is hiring a talented senior technical writer / content developer to help us deliver a delightful experience to our customers. You’ll be key in developing a high-quality culture and building world-class technical documentation for DevOps and Security customers. Relevant technologies include Identity, Security, Networking, Cloud Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and Big Data Analytics.
Aembit is fully remote; this is an excellent opportunity for you to be impactful and develop world-class customer-facing technical documentation.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience authoring, editing, maintaining, and proofing new and existing documentation for a technical audience, including DevOps and Security engineers, architects, and managers.
- Demonstrated ability to be hands-on with deploying and using technology products to produce detailed, accurate, and up-to-date documentation.
- Experience developing other forms of content, such as videos showing our customers and prospects how to use our products.
- Experience developing API documentation, getting started guides, and how-tos.
- Experience using modern technical documentation platforms, including branching, reviews, and versioning using git (e.g., git-flow).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud technologies and security.
- Understanding authentication, authorization, and related technologies, such as OAuth, OpenID, SAML, JWT, PKI.
- Experience with databases and data warehousing, including one or more commercial or open-source data warehouse technologies, like Amazon Redshift or Snowflake.
