Business Development Representative

Aembit is a well-funded cybersecurity startup founded in late 2021. The company’s founders have a strong track record, having started several companies that were successfully acquired. We are focused on a new area in the hot identity space.

Aembit is hiring a talented BDR to join our GTM team. You’ll be a key member helping develop business, drive attendance for events, and set high-quality meetings within a new team!

Aembit is fully remote. This is an excellent opportunity for you to be impactful and sell a new security product for a large market from the ground up.

The Opportunity

As a business development representative (BDR) at Aembit, you’ll play a critical role in driving pipeline growth by identifying prospects, qualifying leads, and booking meetings for our sales team. 

This is an entry point into a growing SaaS company with clear paths for advancement into sales, inside sales, or GTM leadership roles.

How You’ll Make a Difference:

  • Identify, research, and prospect into target accounts using email, phone, LinkedIn, and other methods.
  • Qualify inbound leads from trials and marketing campaigns.
  • Schedule and attend initial prospect meetings; hand off qualified prospects to AEs.
  • Capture detailed prospect information to enable productive sales conversations and demos.
  • Log and maintain all activity, contacts, and progress accurately in Salesforce.
  • Use proven sales techniques to overcome objections and drive conversion.

Provide ongoing feedback to help optimize outbound motion, messaging, and GTM strategy.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Nine to 12 months of SDR or BDR experience in a B2B SaaS. environment (preferred, not required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hunger to learn, grow, and exceed targets in a fast-paced team.
  • Comfort working with sales tools (Salesforce, Outreach, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Resilience, coachability, and the drive to master modern outbound.
  • Passion for delivering value and engaging with technical buyers.
