Aembit is hiring talented senior engineers to join our core engineering team. You’ll be a key member developing a high-quality culture in a new team, building a new product, scaling our cloud service, and solving challenging technical problems. Relevant technologies include Identity, Security, Networking, Cloud Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and Big Data Analytics.
Aembit is fully remote; this is an excellent opportunity for you to be impactful and develop a new security product for a large market from the ground up.
What You’ll Do at Aembit
- Build and expand our security products and APIs, written in Go.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver user-facing features.
- Monitor and improve server-side performance.
- Write unit, integration, and load tests as necessary.
- Actively participate in code reviews.
- Write and review technical proposals.
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
We’d Love to Hear From You if You Have
- 8+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise applications on the .NET platform in C# in a Linux environment.
- Advanced knowledge of ASP.NET Core and associated technologies and patterns including MVC and RESTful web APIs.
- At least 6 years of experience developing production software, including complex SaaS systems that run on a public cloud.
- Ability to write clean, testable JavaScript; proficient with popular JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as Angular, React, Vue.js, Stimulus, etc.
- Strong background in Cloud Platform technologies from AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, including virtual private cloud, container orchestration and databases.
- Quality orientation and comfortable with unit and integration testing and test-driven development.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with data warehousing, including one or more commercial or open-source data warehouse technologies, like Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or ClickHouse.
- Experience deploying and using event streaming technologies like Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Fluentd / Fluent Bit, OpenTelemetry, etc.
- Experience implementing data visualization capabilities using open-source technologies like DS3 or similar.
- Understanding of identity solutions (authentication, authorization, etc) and related technologies including – OAuth, OpenID, SAML, JWT, PKI.
